Title: Assessment of Half-through Girder Railway Bridges for Elastic Buckling
Abstract: A rational model for predicting the elastic buckling load of a half-through girder bridge, in which the buckled shape is modeled as a Fourier curve is discussed. The Rayleigh-Ritz energy based method of analysis provides an accurate and quick method for solving complex restrained-distortional buckling (RDB) problems of half-through girder bridges.
