Title: Analysis of curved girder bridges with the big external girder considering the warping and twisting effects
Abstract: In the design of a curved girder bridge,adopting the big external girder will be more reasonable because the external girder of the curved girder bridge bears more loads than inner girders. In this paper,a detailed analysis of curved girder bridges with the big external girder is made by using the spring coefficient method of redundant rigidity and В.З.Впасов equation of curved girders and taking the warping and twisting effects into accounts. The calculation formulae of elasticity supporting reactions are deduced, then the transversal distributing influence line of loads is obtained.The presented results provide a theoretical basis for the load calculation of such structures.
