Title: Clinical effect of minocycline hydrochloride on periapical periodontitis.
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of minocycline hydrochloride as root canal disinfectant on refractory and chronic periapical periodontitis.Methods278 patients with sinus of periapical periodontitis inflammation were randomly divided into 2 groups:Experiment group(A) minocycline hydrochloride in root canal medication Control group(B)formaldehyde cresol root canal medication,observe the effects of medication of each group.ResultsEfficiency of Group A is 91.37%,while Group B is 14.39%.The results of Group A and Group B were significantly different.ConclusionMinocycline hydrochloride can be used as a root canal disinfectant in treating refractory and chronic perapical periodontitis.
