Title: Сезонная динамика изотопного состава углерода и азота (13c/12с и 15N/14N) в телах подстилочных и атмобионтных коллембол
Abstract: Changes in δ13C and δ15N of three litter-dwelling species of collembolans (Pogonognathellus longicornis, Orchesella flavescens and Isotoma viridis) were studied during May-September 2010 in two forest stands. The dynamics of δ13C and δ15N were similar in three species studied. The δ15N increased from May to September by 1,5-3 ‰; δ13C reached a maximum in early August (1-2 ‰ higher comparing to May) and decreased subsequently. The increase in δ13C coincided with the period of minimum soil moisture and correlated with the decrease in C/N ratio in collembolans' tissues. The increase in δ13C can be largely attributed to the depletion of fat reserves; the increase in δ15N can be related to dietary shifts.
