Other conditions causing headache should be taken into account in the differential diagnosis of migraine with an onset during pregnancy. Effective drugs are available for acute treatment, but in some attacks the effect of the drugs is insufficient. In women, these attacks are frequently associated with menstrual migraine. Recognition of prolonged and intense attacks as menstrual migraine, their anticipation and medication of attacks according to instructions are means to improve the treatment outcome.Read More
