Title: KONSTRUKSI KLAUSA YANG DIAWALI VERBA(AL-JUMLAH AL-FIâLIYYAH) DALAM BAHASA ARAB
Abstract: This thesis studied about verb clause in Arabiclanguage. The study done to
research the rule of gender agreement, the amount agreement, the order pattern of
verb clause elements (verb, subject, and object) and the rule of deletion between
those elements. The approach used in this study is syntaxis that done to research
the verb clause structure, in structure and many others about interword relation in
a clause or a sentence.
The method of this research is distributional that used to studying the syntaxis
structure and unit in the relation with contextual structure or unity and the
influence in a sentence. There are three stages in implemented this method on the
verb clause research, there are (i) express the base concept of verb clause, (ii)
analyze the elements of verb clause maker, and (iii) express the special rule
related with verb clause, that is the agreement, the order pattern and the deletion.
There are main points produced from this research. First, the Arabic verb clause
ethimologicaly can be compared with verb clause that known in general
linguistics, but both had basic differences therminologicaly. Because, that is
Arabic verb clause that seen from the structure and verb clause that seen base on
the adverb. Second, gender agreement in Arabic verb clause enable the gender
equality between verb and subject, what masculine or feminine. While amount
agreement unenable the amount equality between verb and subject because verb in
Arabic verb clause�the free clause, not fixed clause�always indicate just one,
although the subject indicate on dual or plural.
Third, except regular order pattern (verb, subject, and object) the construction of
verb clause also known other order pattern, like: verb, object and subjectand
subject, verb and object. Fourth, the elements of Arabic verb clause may
disappeared into certain context, the verb and the subject, although both main
elements in Arabic verb clause but can be disappeared. Moreover, in some context
both can be disappeared all at once time.
