Title: A ROBUST MODEL FOR ESTIMATION OF CAPACITY AND DELAY AT UNSIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS
Abstract: Unsignalized intersections constitute a large portion of intersections in the U.S. Particular emphasis is placed on the operational analysis at these intersections in response to request for traffic signals. This paper deals with (1) developing capacity-traffic flow relationships at unsignalized T-intersections (2) developed empirical relationships between reserve capacity and total delay.
