Title: Effects of different temperatures of saline and isotonic saline solution on changes in functional characteristics of the nasal cavity
Abstract: The influence of different temperatures (22 degrees capital ES, Cyrillic, 30 degrees capital ES, Cyrillic, 37 degrees capital ES, Cyrillic) of 2% saline solution and isotonic saline solution on the breathing function of the nasal cavity and transport function of the nasal mucosa in nasal shower with these solutions was studied in healthy volunteers. Nasal shower technique with application of the device Rhinolife is described. It was found that nasal shower with isotonic saline solution at temperature of 37 degrees C is optimal as it does not depress a nasal breathing function and is comfortable for the patient.
