These factors, combined with greater knowledge of the effects of ramp controls on various user groups, have greatly improved the ability to pre-determine whether, and if so to what extent, freeway ramps should be controlled. This article summarizes some positive and negative effects of freeway ramp controls on different driver groups, and the feeling of Ottawa drivers about urban freeway congestion.Read More
