Abstract: Tetralogy of Fallot is the most common cyanotic congenital heart defect [1]. It is estimated that in the United States 2,700 patients are born each year with tetralogy of Fallot. The surgical treatment of tetralogy of Fallot now consists of an anatomical repair of the defects. It is estimated that 2,400 patients per year with tetralogy of Fallot will survive into their teenage years in the United States alone.
