Title: CONCRETE QUALITY CONTROL IN THE ARABIAN GULF. IN: QUALITY ASSURANCE IN CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION. COMPILATION 16
Abstract: The QA/QC program for the largest commercial/residential complex in Kuwait is described. Analysis of concrete test results indicates that the program successfully overcame the problems of harsh climate, unsuitable materials, congested location, and a non-homogeneous work-force. Successful completion of the project proved that an effective QA/QC program is both possible and cost-effective in the Arabian Gulf region.
