Abstract: Vehicle ownership levels are an important determinant in urban travel demand, particularly with respect to mode choice, and are expected to continue to be so in the foreseeable future. A model to predict vehicle ownership levels has been developed to meet requirements for long term forecasting at the traffic zone level.
