Title: ACTIVE VIBRATION ISOLATION SYSTEM USING AN ACTIVE DYNAMIC VIBRATION ABSORBER AS AN ACCELEROMETER
Abstract: An active vibration isolation system is proposed which uses an active dynamic vibration absorber as a servo accelerometer in a low-frequency range and as a vibration control device in a high-frequency range. The configuration of the proposed vibration isolation system is clarified. An experimental apparatus is developed for basic study. In this apparatus, a translational vibration in the vertical direction is actively controlled. The carried out experiments demonstrate that an active dynamic vibration absorber can operate as a servo accelerometer in a low-frequency range.
