Title: Cytology and Definition of the Rep Pulp Cells
Abstract: Two types can be distinguished: large basophilic blasts (more than 10 µm in diameter) and small basophilic blasts (less than 10 µm in diameter). Both have pale, large, roundish to oval, relatively plump nuclei. The nucleoli stain violet; they are located partly in the center, partly at the nuclear membrane. The cytoplasm is clearly recognizable and strongly basophilic; sometimes it contains small vacuoles (Figs. 1, 2).
