Abstract: This report presents strategies for reducing emissions from land-based transport in Victoria. The report lists a series of possible emission reduction strategies and assesses each of these. It presents a strategy for reducing emissions of carbon dioxide and indicates the implications of this strategy for hydrocarbon and nitrous oxide emissions, and provides confidence levels for the CO2 strategy sets. The report also identifies possibledirections for further work relating to policy instrument assessment and research and development. This report was prepared for Australia.
