CREATIVE EXAMPLES OF STREET THINKING ARE DESCRIBED IN 5 CATEGORIES: STREET FRONTAGES, BUILDINGS AS EXTENSIONS OF THE STREET, STREETS FOR PEDESTRIANS, SPECIAL-PURPOSE STREETS, AND STREETS AS SYSTEMS. PRIORITY OF THE RIGHT OF WAY IS BEING RETHOUGHT, LEADING TO A REVIVAL OF PEDESTRIANIZATION. THE ENTIRE CITY INFRASTRUCTURE IS BEING REEXAMINED, ALONG WITH THE FUNCTION OF ZONING AS A DESIGN TOOL.
