Title: Comparison of Various Gelsolin-Like Proteins and Their Interaction with Actin Filaments
Abstract: Gelsolins are Ca-dependent actin-binding proteins which modulate the polymer state of actin in vitro by nucleation of polymerization, capping, and severing of actin filaments. Though gelsolins have been isolated from a number of cell types and from blood plasma, the physiological role of these proteins remains unclear.
