The main characteristics of the proposed model are as follows: (1) The model integrates trip generation (i.e. activity choice), destination choice, mode choice and route choice; (2) Traveler’s choice behavior is assumed to be expressed as a nested logit structure; and (3) This model considers hourly variation of traffic condition. The applicability of the model is shown under application to Nagoya Metropolitan Area, Japan. These results suggest that the model allows us to compare various TDM policies effectively and evaluate in detail.Read More
