Title: Life-Cycle Cost Analysis and Use Policies for Modified Asphalt Pavement
Abstract: This study proposes policies for the use of modified asphalt mixture, by assessing the long-term performance of such pavement and the economic efficiency of using the mixture to extend the pavement lifespan. Quantitative assessment of long-term performance based on follow-up survey of the pavement on national highways was conducted. Performance curves of road surface profiles were defined based on the assessment. Life-cycle cost (LCC) analysis for a 40-year service life was conducted to determine the most effective policies for cost reduction.
