Полагаю необходимым сказать о контр-адмирале К.И.Самойлове - начальнике управления военно-морских учебных заведений Наркомата Военно- Морского Флота СССР. Проверка показала, что Константин Иванович был арестован по ложному обвинению в 1941 году и всю войну находился в заключении. 21 декабря 1945 года руководитель военной контрразведки генерал-полковник В.С.Абакумов доложил И.В.Сталину о 36 высших офицерах, содержащихся под арестом, среди которых находился и контр-адмирал Самойлов (4). В настоящее время установлено, что он умер 19 сентября 1951 года, не дождавшись освобождения (5), и его нельзя считать погибшим в годы войны. Таким образом, в известном списке остается 415 фамилий.
