Title: Heat transfer in porous media and two-phase flow. HTD-Volume 302
Abstract: This volume consists of two review papers that detail the state of the art in combustion in porous media and computation problems in transient multiphase heat transfer. The other papers in this volume address specific problems in free convection, inverse problems in porous media, flow in helical pipes, pool boiling mechanisms, phase change in semiconductor processing techniques, and magnetic resonance imaging techniques to study freezing. The authors believe that the heat transfer problems addressed here are relevant to the current needs of the energy industry and hope that future symposia on heat transfer at the Energy-Sources Technology Conference and Exhibition will include more technical sessions.
