He calls for a systematic and long-term labor strategy whose elements include recruitment of crew, training of crew and retention of crew. He suggests that the cruise industry be global in its approach; take full advantage of economies of scale, support training for catering personnel in hotel schools on land; and offer long-term employment, benefits, advancement opportunities and improved working conditions.Read More
