Abstract: Results of tests of factors related to a speed test of equipment at 200 km/h are studied with effects of ordinary track, track on a solid bed (without ballast) an expansion and insulated joint, a PC sleeper, deformation of loamy embankment, ground vibration and finally, train wind force. The second section is devoted to thermit welding of various types of rail and standards to be followed.
