Title: Methods for Ascertaining Firms’ Needs for Innovation Services
Abstract: In 1995, in connection with the European Commission’s “European Innovation Monitoring System” (EIMS), a group of research and advisory institutes in Belgium, France, Great Britain and Germany compiled a set of handbooks for the support of regional actors in policy, industry and research in the development of regional innovation concepts and plans. These handbooks, which were intended for use in the RIS (Regional Innovation Strategies) and RITTS (Regional Innovation and Technology Transfer Strategies and Infrastructures) project promotions (cf. RIDER et al. 1996), provide methodological instruments and action recommendations. This set comprises three parts:
