This therefore prompted the research on the utilization of biological agents to control and manage unplanted plants in the field. One of the biological methods identified is the utilization of bioherbicides in the management of weeds. This involved the synthesis of living organisms to control the weeds. Further research has also been made on the involvement of nanotechnology in bioherbicides to increase the rate of reactions of the bioherbicides and also enhance the nutrient uptakes of plants. One of the nanoformulation methodology used is nanoencapsulation. Nanoencapsulation is the coating/covering of different compounds inside another element at different sizes in the nanorange. In this review, the various assumptions to bioherbicides approaches, different opportunities to the bioherbicide methodology, and the ability of nanotechnology in the improvement of bioherbicides were fully discussed. However, the full knowledge of nutrient uptakes of bioherbicides by plants/weeds is yet to be fully uncovered. References Morin , L. , Progress in biological control of weeds with plant pathogens .
