Title: Comparison of the Theme of Cultural Belonging in Turkish and Kazakh Literature (Example of Sinekli Bakkal-Akbilek Novels)
Abstract: Jüsipbek Aymavıtov’un Akbilek romanı 1928 yılında, Halide Edip Adıvar’ın Sinekli Bakkal romanı ise 1935 tarihinde yayımlanmıştır. Bu romanlar, Türk dünyasının kültürel değerlerinin ön plana çıkarıldığı eserlerdir. Gerek ulaştığı baskı sayısı gerekse okuyucu kitlesi üzerindeki etkisiyle her iki roman da yazıldığı dönemi aşar. Aymavıtov ve Adıvar’ın kurmaca eserlerinden bazılarının tezli eser olduğu bilinen bir gerçektir. Bu bakımdan Akbilek ve Sinekli Bakkal romanlarını tema bakımından değerlendirirken Aymavıtov ve Adıvar’ın bilgi ve kültür dünyasına eğilmek de gerekecektir. Aymavıtov’un Akbilek romanında, 20. yüzyılın başındaki Kazak şehir ve köylerindeki siyasi-sosyal çekişmeler, insanların yaşam pratikleri ve bir Kazak kızı ekseninde kadın ve eğitim konuları işlenir. Ekim Devrimi (1917) ve buna bağlı olarak Kazakistan genelinde süregelen ekonomik kültürel etkileşimler üzerinde özellikle durulur. Adıvar’ın Sinekli Bakkal romanında ise, II. Abdülhamit döneminin panoraması dar bir sokak çerçevesinden ve yine bir kadının dünyasından okura yansıtılır. Meşrutiyetin ilanı ile son bulan roman, karakterleri aracılığıyla devrin değişen insan ve yönetim manzarasını sergiler. İki romanda da farklı medeniyetlerin etkileşimi, din ve dinsizlik, aşk ve mantık, aile ve fert kavramları üzerinden çatışma noktaları oluşturulur. Tema bakımından dönemin zihniyetini yansıtan iki romanda da bireyin yaşamı, toplumsal gerçekçilik açısından ele alınır. Bireyin toplum içindeki konumu ve aidiyeti üzerine durulur. Bu çalışmada, her iki romanın yansıttığı toplumsal değerler, kültürel kodlar ve değer yargıları karşılaştırmalı olarak incelecektir.
