Abstract: Este texto busca indicar potencialidades presentes no campo da literatura indígena no Brasil e no México, enquanto política intercultural para todos – indígenas e não indígenas. Por meio de atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito do Curso de Educação Intercultural no Núcleo Takinahaky de Formação Superior Indígena (NTFSI) da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), da leitura de escritos e reflexões indígenas acerca da literatura produzida e de uma análise de políticas interculturais em ambos países, relacionamos a produção literária, de base comunitária, com a potencialidade de políticas educativas que tratem da diferença, as quais buscam a formação de pessoas aptas para uma convivência equilibrada, justa e pacífica.
