Abstract:Objective: to conduct a study encompassing cesarean deliveries performed according to Robson's classification into 10 groups of basic obstetric characteristics, probably associating them with the expe...Objective: to conduct a study encompassing cesarean deliveries performed according to Robson's classification into 10 groups of basic obstetric characteristics, probably associating them with the experiences or impressions of patients undergoing surgical procedures at Hospital Santa Lucinda (HSL).Methods: a documentary study, from 96 women who underwent caesarean section, from 08/01/2018 to 07/20/2019, analyzing their care experiences in a Likert-type psychometric questionnaire interview, and from medical records.Results: after statistical analysis performed by chi-square test for contingency tables and corrections by Monte Carlo simulation, it was noted that in the experiences of postpartum women there is a prevalence, although not significant, of positive care feelings (performance of the obstetrician, first meeting with their child and nursing action) over negative ones (postpartum pain, suffering during parturition or dying during surgery), i.e., results with p values> 0.05.These results were not dependent on patient location within the 10 Robson classification groups.Conclusion: the psychometric experiences or feelings of postpartum women undergoing cesarean section at HSL were not interdependent (distributed or associated) on the Robson Classification patient group type.Read More
