Title: ENSINO DA TRANSCRIÇÃO DO DNA E TRADUÇÃO DO MRNA: OBSTÁCULOS E DESAFIOS PARA CONSTRUÇÃO DOS CONCEITOS SOBRE SÍNTESE PROTEICA EM SALA DE AULA
Abstract: O ramo da Biologia Molecular é essencial para o estudo do genoma e suas interações. Esta e outras áreas da ciência moderna são cruciais para o desenvolvimento da sociedade, pois melhoram as condições de vida e promovem a independência do país. Em sala de aula, os conteúdos abordados por esse tema tendem a ser de difícil absorção, principalmente por serem abstratos. Assim, é necessário que as metodologias de ensino-aprendizagem voltadas para esses conteúdos sejam realizadas de forma integrada e holística, levando em consideração os mais diversos recursos didáticos, lúdicos e inclusivos. Com o objetivo de investigar os tipos de recursos didáticos que têm sido utilizados em sala de aula para abordar esse tema, este trabalho teve como objetivo levantar os artigos submetidos ao Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC). Observou-se que o ramo de Biologia Molecular, como um todo, só começou a aparecer no ENPEC a partir de 2011. Além disso, o número de publicações nessa área é baixo em relação ao total de publicações em cada anais. A partir da análise dos artigos levantados, foi possível observar uma tendência dos autores em trabalhar com o conceito de “gene” e síntese proteica, aparecendo, respectivamente, em 5 e 4 artigos. O que esses relatórios têm em comum é a tentativa de solucionar o problema do nível de abstração e da complexidade com que o tema é abordado tanto na educação superior quanto na educação básica.
