Abstract: Understanding consumer behaviour has long been a priority for industries. The nuances, diversity, and unpredictability of consumer behaviour, on the other hand, make it an intriguing but complex topic of research. Researchers have long attempted to analyse, explain, and forecast consumer behaviour using various OTT platforms. Consumer behavior, as well as numerous cognitive and physical actions conducted by consumers, has traditionally been an essential component of consumer behaviour that industries and researchers have attempted to comprehend under varied commercial, social, cultural, and other situations. The digital technologies, rising demand content market is still evolving and the players are experimenting with multiple monetization models, the most popular ones being subscription based and advertisement based model. In India, currently consumer willingness to pay for content is hindered by the rampant content piracy, however, a shift has been observed in the consumer attitude in recent times.
