Title: REFLECTION AS A MEANS OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-DEVELOPMENT OF A TEACHER
Abstract: The paper actualizes the problem of professional self-development of a teacher in modern dynamically changing conditions, sets a goal and justifies that reflection is one of the means for professional self-development of a teacher. The study methods used include analysis, comprehension of theoretical sources and generalization of experience. The author makes an attempt to define the (working) concept of “individual reflective map”, proves and concludes that it is necessary to develop individual reflective maps for a deeper understanding (reflection) of the teacher’s own professional activity.
