Title: Le mamme no Pfas: la battaglia per l’acqua. La lotta per la tutela della salute come dimensione terapeutica.
Abstract: In Veneto, and more precisely in Lonigo, a town in the province of Vicenza, the pollution of surface and ground water by the chemical company Miteni has triggered one of the most serious environmental disasters of the last 50 years. Through archival research and field research with interviews with Mamme no Pfas - a group of parents who took political action to defend the health of their children - the author analyzed, within the theoretical framework of the disaster, conflicts and changes cultural events that have arisen in a state of environmental emergency, highlighting how the experience of political activism has manifested itself as a new effective therapeutic method - individual and collective - to face the emergency.
