Title: Design and Implementation of Area Positioning System Based on UWB
Abstract: In scenarios requiring precise location information like smart campus, common positioning technologies such as ZigBee, Bluetooth and WIFI have low accuracy and cannot meet high-precision positioning needs, while differential GPS (DGPS) can achieve high-precision positioning, but its equipment is relatively expensive. To address these problems, this paper designs an area positioning system based on UWB technology, which uses the Chan-UKF algorithm for positioning on the basis of the excellent ranging performance of ultra-wideband technology (UWB). The performance of the designed system is verified through experiments. The system can effectively suppress interference caused by complex environments and achieve low-cost and low-power positioning in applications that require high-precision positioning, such as smart campuses, golf courses, indoor parking lots, etc.
