Title: Les implications éthiques de l’accompagnement doctoral
Abstract: « Etre avec et aller vers », telle est la définition minimale du verbe accompagner. Cette perspective fait de l'accompagnement une relation particulière qui repose sur la valeur symbolique du partage (Paul, 2009). Parler d'accompagnement doctoral marque donc un positionnement conceptuel fort. Quelles sont les implications éthiques d'une telle approche et comment les identifier? Cette contribution aborde cette question à partir d'une entrée épistémologique. L'hypothèse suggérée est que malgré les chartes éthiques du doctorat qui définissent les contours de l'encadrement ou plus largement de la formation doctorale et malgré la liberté académique déterminée comme principe général de la recherche universitaire, demeure un point aveugle lié aux questionnements épistémologiques. Les doctorantes et les doctorants sont confrontés à des lacunes de significations et peuvent se sentir seuls, isolés, voire en détresse. Cette contribution propose d'actualiser les implications éthiques de l'accompagnement doctoral en reconnaissant la dimension politique des savoirs, en remettant au centre la responsabilité des chercheurs et des chercheuses, en favorisant l'engagement et en valorisant la dimension biographique dans la construction des connaissances. Ces implications sont illustrées par des exemples d'actes de recherche insolents en réponse à certaines injonctions positivistes qui mettent les doctorantes et les doctorants en difficulté.
