Title: Numerical Study on Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Single-Phase Flow in Rectangular Microchannel
Abstract: Flow and heat transfer characteristics of single-phase flow in rectangular microchannels is studied by CFD method using Fluent software. Research shows: Under the work conditions of this article, the microchannel has a better heat transfer characteristics when the aspect ratio is greater than 1, and the maximum heat transfer characteristics is happened when the aspect ratio is around 2.5. The flow pressure drop increases significantly when the aspect ratio is greater than 1. The hydraulic diameter has a more obvious effect on the flow and heat transfer characteristics in the microchannel. A smaller hydraulic diameter has a higher heat transfer efficiency, but at the same time there is a greater pressure drop loss. At the same time, based on the actual processing ability, the microchannel structure with the best flow and heat transfer characteristics is obtained for the conventional work conditions, which has a good guiding significance for the microchannel design under the conventional work conditions.
