Description: This study demonstrates the occurrence of signifi cant exchange bias in magnetic thin-fi lm heterostructures even in the presence of a very small remnant magnetic fi eld (~5 Oe).This phenomenon has been demonstrated at the interface between the epitaxial layers of charge-ordered antiferromagnetic Y 0.5 Ca 0.5 MnO 3 and ferromagnetic La 0.7 Sr 0.3 MnO 3 .
