Yannuzzi This perspective reviews the history of indocyanine green (ICG) angiography, its past use, and its current indications in the clinical setting.The author's views were in close agreement with preferences by invited, international retinal specialists.ICG angiography was recommended for a few highly selective chorioretinal disorders, including neovascular age-related macular degeneration, other neovascular maculopathies, chronic central serous chorioretinopathy, choroidal hemangiomas, and certain posterior uveitis disorders.
