Title: Low temperature neutron diffraction study of RbNiF3
Abstract: Results from a powder neutron diffraction study on the magnetodielectric compound RbNiF3(TN=135K) are presented and discussed. Complex spin structures and models with two, three and four magnetic sublattices in particular were tested for description of the magnetic structure evolution with temperature. The two sublattice collinear ferrimagnetic structure of ferroxplan type that is effective at the temperature of liquid helium and above up to about 50K transforms into a canted structure with spins gradually out of the basal plane.
