Abstract: ELECTRIC amplifying devices exist in a number of distinct forms such as electronic, magnetic, and rotating amplifiers, each with a distinct field of usefulness. The rotating amplifier is most prominent where relatively large power outputs are required. However, even rotating amplifiers have been used in the past only as relatively small machines. This article considers the incorporation of amplification in large-sized generators where questions previously neglected must be considered.
