Abstract: The present study perfectly highlights how conscious we are today about the importance of reducing surgical invasiveness. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) has been historically considered a minimally invasive procedure and, no doubt it, dramatically impacted the treatment of renal stones. Still, we are working to further improve its outcomes in terms of faster recovery.
