Abstract: The latest addition to the Nimonic series of high temperature nickel alloys is Nimonic 105. This new alloy is a development of Nimonic 100, and is given a minimum life to rupture of 50 hours at 7 T/sq. in. and 940 deg. C. It is particularly resistant to corrosion by solid or molten sulphate products of combustion.
