Abstract: En analysant les causes de la dégradation de l’environnement, nous avons compris qu’une bonne gouvernance était nécessaire. En effet, quel que soit le pays, l’état de son environnement reflète la façon dont il est géré, et, sans une bonne gouvernance, il ne peut pas y avoir de paix. Dans beaucoup de pays où les systèmes de gouvernance sont défaillants, il existe aussi des risques de conflit, et l’environnement est en général mal protégé par la législation ».
