Abstract: SUMMARYIt was established that one of the characteristics of the sitka spruce forest of the Pacific Northwest is an abundance of basidiocarps of species of Phaeocollybia. The presence of Russula nigricans Fr. in North America is reaffirmed. New species and varieties described are: Phaeocollybia deceptiva. P. dissiliens, P. gregaria, P. oregonensis, P. piceae, P. scatesiae, Cortinarius vanduzerensis, Phylloporus arenicola, Suillus imitatus var. viridescens.
