Abstract: Abstract Having dealt briefly (Chapter 2) with the role of international law, including international treaties of the Russian Federation, as sources of Russian law, we turn to the general dialogue in Russian legal doctrine about the relationship between international law and the Russian legal system and then consider specific Russian legislation addressed to traditional domains or branches of international law: diplomatic and consular law, the law of treaties, the law of territory, and others.
