Abstract: EI en la misma medida que otros estudiantes, siendo los alumnos con síndrome de Down (SD) uno de los grupos que más ha defendido su derecho a la EI.Si bien la literatura se ha centrado mayoritariamente en comprender las competencias de estos alumnos, el conocimiento de las barreras contextuales para la inclusión que afrontan todavía es limitado.El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar las barreras que atentan contra la inclusión de los estudiantes con SD escolarizados en etapa de educación primaria relacionándolas con las metas de la EI a las que estas barreras amenazan.Método.Se llevó a cabo una revisión de literatura publicada en revistas revisadas por simposios symposiums
