Title: POS-046 COMPARISON OF SUSTAINED LOW-EFFICIENCY DIALYSIS (SLED) AND CONTINUOUS RENAL REPLACEMENT THERAPY (CRRT) IN ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY: ANALYSIS OF PROPENSITY SCORE-MATCHED PATIENT COHORT
Abstract: Sustained low-efficiency dialysis (SLED) is emerging as an alternative to continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in recent years as a viable modality of renal replacement therapy (RRT) in critically ill patients with acute kidney injury (AKI). However, information on the outcome is sparse from the developing countries, where SLED is an attractive alternative to CRRT, in resource-limited situations. We compared the hospital outcome of SLED and CRRT in a propensity score-matched cohort of AKI requiring RRT in the intensive care unit (ICU).
