Title: Use of Combined Geophysical Techniques in Geological Mapping – Some Examples in Sweden
Abstract: P151 USE OF COMBINED GEOPHYSICAL TECHNIQUES IN GEOLOGICAL MAPPING. SOME EXAMPLES IN SWEDEN Abstract Summary 1 Airborne and ground geophysical data contain very important and useful information that reflects details about geological variations in a survey area. Case studies in Sweden has shown that combined interpretation of geophysical data e.g. total magnetic field and VLF provides models that are well confirmed by the surface geological observations. Use of the airborne geophysical data together with ground geophysical measurement increases both the quality and accuracy of the bedrock maps produced at the Geological Survey of Sweden.
