Title: NaI (T1) scintillation with counter with vacuum photodiode
Abstract: This paper presents the results of a study of NaI (T1) scintillation counter with a vacuum photodiode 50 mm in diameter. The energy resolution for gamma photons with an energy of 0.66 MeV is 23% and is determined by amplifier noise. The counters with flat vacuum photodiodes can be used to create compact scintillatin calorimeters with a large number of elements in the detectors used in colliders.
