Abstract: Mathematics involves more than just com- putational skills. Mathematics includes reasoning, thinking, communicating, and solvingproblems. It involves skills that children have experienced during their preschool years. Preschool children are actively involved in their own learning and through informal learning activitie have experienced some of the processe expresed as verb and listed in the Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics (NCTM 1989) a important for student to be able to communicate mathematically—explore, represent. solve, construct, discuss, use, investigate, describe, develop and predict.
