Title: About Problems, Faith, Lessons, and Attitude
Abstract: Abstract We live on one planet, with one group of people, one group of animals, one group of trees and plants, all from the same source. Yet, you can see, hear, and feel fear everywhere. And that, while there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Everything happens as it is supposed to: there is a season for everything. Instead of being fearful, we should enjoy the perfection in things and focus on the positive, trusting that there is a plan and a purpose for everything. Obtaining education, traveling, learning from the people we meet, but most of all, realizing that our attitude is the key to our perception of life, are crucial ways to help us make this world a better place for ourselves and others. Rejoicing in Being My license plate says ONERTH - we live on one planet, with one group of people, one group of animals, one group of trees and plants, all from the same source. In my life, I try to be an example (or a teacher) to all I meet: an example of health, happiness, peace and prosperity. I try, and have always tried, while in the business world, to present myself well. I believe in starting my day with an attitude of gratitude; we all have so many blessings, and yet, many of us are filled with fear. The Problems we Face Have you noticed how much fear there is in people today? Was this fear in our parents' and our grandparents' lives? From the moment we get up in the morning, we are bombarded with reports about economic downturns, schools that are doing poorly, the failing stock market, robberies, terrorist threats, natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, diseases... the list goes on and on, so as to make us want to pack up and leave. But where would we go, where would we hide? Hasn't there always been crime, greed, murder, didn't our parents and their parents experience the same things? The Power of Faith Here is what I believe about fear: There is nothing to fear but fear itself! Let us remember who we are - we are all children of God who created the earth and everything on it, who made us in His image and whose hand is over all things! Let me repeat: there is nothing to fear or be afraid of! As the saying goes This, too, shall pass. We must look within ourselves and realize that in Him, all things are perfect, beautiful, and complete. I believe that, if I have faith and work hard on myself, this truth will be made manifest. I believe that we don't NEED anything and that there is enough. I remind myself continually to take my eyes off of what I see and hear on television or on the radio or what I read in e-mails; there has always been news, good and bad, and there always will be! When we get up in the morning, let's remember that we are all whole, complete, and perfect - no matter if things APPEAR to be otherwise! (Yes, even when we look in the mirror and see a new wrinkle here and another bulge there.) As it says in the Bible, there is a season for everything; so let us instead see the perfection in things and focus on the positive, there is a plan and a purpose for everything! We need to remind ourselves of this and remember that there are no accidents and that everything happens for a reason. The Lessons that are All Around I have always felt strongly about educating the mind, body and spirit, which has taken me years of study to perfect. I have had an opportunity to travel the world, see some of the greatest art and hear the finest music, and have probably seen and experienced more than most. …
